Leterme: No chance for Belgium asylum
Information spread in the country's north regarding Belgium's immigration policy is entirely untrue. My country does not give political asylum to economic refugees, so there is no sense of travelling from Macedonia to Belgium to seek for a status of political refugee. There is no chance for applicants to get asylum on the basis of economic reasons, said late Monday Belgian Prime Minister Yves Leterme after talks with host Nikola Gruevski.
