Forget about marriage counseling and couple therapies - Harrison Ford has a long-term marriage advice and it's very simple.

"Don't talk, just nod your head," the 77-year-old actor joked in an interview.

Ford and his wife, 55-year-old Callista Flockhart, have been married for nearly 10 years and together for 18 years. It's something that is really hard to see among Hollywood couples.

Harrison and Callista first met in 2002 at the Golden Globe Awards and married eight years later. Ford has four children from two previous marriages, and Flockhart has one adopted son.

And while some see an obstacle to the difference in years between them, the actress said in an interview in 2017 that the question in their relationship had never been asked.

"The truth is that I sometimes feel much older than Harrison," Callista said.

Harrison Ford also discovered how he maintained a strong bond with his wife. Given the fact that he has been on a pilot license for 25 years, the actor loves to fly, but before leaving he is first assured that he has completed all his duties.

As the actor said, he spends quality time with his wife of their ranch in Wyoming when not working in Los Angeles.

During his 50-year career, Harrison has played several cult roles such as Ian Solo in "Star Wars" and the Indiana Jones, whom he has confirmed will reprise in the fifth installment. However, as he says, success has not come without hard work:

"I didn't have success overnight. I spent 15 years before I had any real, notable success, ”Ford concluded.
