1942 - Stefan Naumov-Stiv and Dimitar Bogoevski-Mite, the national heroes not wanting to be caught by Bulgarian army and police they committed suicide in locality Dolec, near Bolnska mountain. Stefan Naumov-Stiv is born on October 27, 1920. Dimitar Bogoevski-Mite is born in the village Bolno, near Resen on October 31, 1919.
1986 - The Italian poet, the most famous representative of hermeneutics, Eugenio Montale. His famous works are "Auto da fe," "The Storm and Other Things," "Satura" etc. He won the Noble Prize for literature in 1975 and the "Golden Wreath" of Struga Poetry Evenings in 1973. He is born in Genoa on October 12, 1896.
1986 - The famous painter and graphic artist Dragutin Avramovski - Gute died in Skopje. He was one of the first Macedonian abstract painters and the contributor of the development of the modern graphic expression in Macedonia. He is born in Kumanovo, on March 11, 1931.
1996 - The Macedonian composer Toma Prosev died. He is born in Skopje, November 10, 1931.
